Ever asked for a fabricator and recieved a cv for a production welder ? A service engineer instead of a maintenence engineer? I hear this often from clients about job roles and different niches not being understood and I think that comes from the lack of knowledge in the sector. As a recruiter, having extensive knowledge in a specific sector can truly set you apart from the competition whilst at the same time providing and excellent service to clients. Why? Because it allows you to speak the language of the industry, understand the unique challenges and opportunities within that sector, and ultimately, connect the right candidates with the right companies. As recruiters when we have a deep understanding of a specific industry, we are better equipped to identify top talent, anticipate trends, and provide valuable insights to both candidates and clients. This level of expertise not only builds trust and credibility but also ensures a more successful and efficient recruitment process.#Recruitment #IndustryKnowledge #Engineering #manufacturing

Artisans can not assume the roles of ProfessionalsI found it awkward the debate of comparing Artisans with Professionals why? Their roles and responsibilities are different and when things go astray, Professional is likely to loose his entire certifications and practicing license than artisans. Engineering as a case study1- Plumber will never be equivalent to Mechanical Engineer2- Welder and Fabricator would never equate Metallurgical Engineer3- Electrician is not an Electrical Engineer 4- Baba Mulika Bricklayer is not a Civil Engineer /BuilderLet me breakdown it down more, While I do not despise this artisans because they're capable in their respective capacity, assuming the role of professionals is what I wouldn't agreed to.In COREN, we have 4 cadres in the pyramid1- Engineer (B.Eng)2- Technologist (HND)3- Technician (ND)4- Craftsmen (Artisan)Each of this cadre is functional in built-in environment with respect to their level of education and training. I passed through all these levels and I know what is obtainable in each of the cadre. There was a site I was given it supervision job, earlier before I resume to the site they've started the excavation, I requested for drawing and made a visitation to the site. As at then Structural Drawings is not eady while the bricklayer have started digging the column base, when I got to the site I asked him what is the column base size, 18x18inch (450x450mm), I queried why? He said since the column is 9x9 (225 by 225mm), I told him to stop work and awaits the release of Structural Drawings before we continue on that site.................................................................Read up in the comment section.

Attention all welding engineers! In today's fast-paced and ever-evolving industry, it's crucial to stay productive and ahead of the curve. One of the best strategies for welding engineers to stay productive is to continuously update their skills and knowledge. Whether it's staying current with the latest welding techniques or learning about new materials and technologies, ongoing education is key to remaining competitive in the field. Additionally, setting clear goals and priorities, and effectively managing time and resources can help welding engineers maximize their productivity and efficiency. By staying organized and focused, welding engineers can ensure that they are delivering high-quality work in a timely manner, ultimately contributing to the success of their projects and their overall career development. 💪🔥👨🏭📚🕒As a recruiter, I've seen firsthand the impact of these strategies on the success of welding engineers. By continuously investing in their professional development and honing their time management skills, welding engineers can position themselves as valuable assets to their employers and the industry as a whole. It's important to remember that productivity is not just about working harder, but also about working smarter. By implementing these strategies, welding engineers can enhance their productivity and make a positive impact on their projects and their careers. Let's continue to strive for excellence in the welding engineering field! #WeldingEngineers #ProductivityTips #ProfessionalDevelopment 🛠️📈👩🏭

Many manufacturing and industrial jobs have a title that makes it clear what the job entails - for example, you know from the name that a “machinist” works with machines. But then there’s “millwright.” If you haven’t worked this job before, it can be difficult to know exactly what the job entails. In this article, we’ll explore what exactly a millwright is and who is best suited for this job.https://hubs.la/Q02Bq6-c0
